. . . . . .

Svetlana's work can be described as an ongoing exploration of texture and colour. Using various materials to build up the surfaces of her paintings Svetlana creates decorative pieces full of energy and colour. When exhibited or hung in a home environment the generous depth of the canvases, together with the textured surface give the viewer a 3rd dimension in which to experience the artwork. All of the work has a modular feel to it as well, and when hung together looks just as great as it does individually. Svetlana lives and works in Cambridge, UK. Being a member of the Cambridge Drawing Society Svetlana exhibits her work at the Society's annual Shows - Guild Hall and the Michaelhouse Church.
